ADD-TV celebrated its second season with its annual Pill Awards with this year's 2004 ceremony being held live at PLAID in Manhattan. The queens were dolled up and had their faces beat as the VIP section popped with flashed from the paparazzi frenzy. With Pill Nurses, Dahlia and Stephanie Trommer decked out in naughty nurse uniforms and Scrub Boi Joshua Cadwallader in nothing but a stethoscope and lavender scrub pants, the tone was set for a kitsch glam night. The nominees were culled from underground queer talent whose shorts ran on ADD-TV's SEASON 2. With an eclectic cast of presenters, drag queen Trai La Trash hosted the awards show with live performances by Inda Matrix and Ari Gold, screened video clips, and Pills were awarded to the winners. Though the show was truncated by PLAID's ensuing Pop Rocks!, a good time was had by all. Many people met and reconnected with old friends and the spirit of underground queer talent prevailed throughout the night.

ADD-TV would like to thank all the queer talent and the serie's fan who have made both ADD-TV and its Pill Awards an alternative success. Next year's Pill Awards promises to be held in a venue where the club doesn't overbook their events.
